What is 7umbrellas?

It's a productivity tool.

What does that mean?

If you live with a mind like mine, there are plenty of insights that occur to you during your waking hours. The trouble is, you can't keep them in your mind for more than a few minutes. 7umbrellas is designed to work with your creativity, providing a fast and easy way to articulate random ideas and save them to revisit later.

7umbrellas also provides an easy, fun way to keep track of work that you've done or are currently doing. If you don't already keep a work (or play) log, now is the time to start one.

Who can use it?

Anybody! Type in your e-mail address and a password in the boxes above, click "Register", and go at it! Most things work, and there will be more features (and documentation) soon.

What's with the name 7umbrellas?

When I was developing this tool, I tried to think of a nice synonym for category that didn't sound quite so, well, boring. Umbrella, with its colorful history in film and language, seemed like a nice fit. 7 is my favorite number.
